Northern Water Careers
Northern Water is a public agency created in 1937 to contract with the federal government to build the Colorado-Big Thompson Project.
The C-BT Project collects water west of the Continental Divide and delivers it to Northeastern Colorado for agricultural, municipal, domestic and industrial uses. Northern Water has approximately 115 full-time employees. Most work out of Northern Water’s headquarters in Berthoud, CO; about 20 employees are based at the Farr Pump Plant on Lake Granby in Grand County, CO.
Northern Water is proud of its reputation as a leading water delivery, conservation and management organization, not only in the western United States, but across the nation.
We value our employees, and our compensation and benefits reflect a commitment to hiring and retaining the best.
Northern Water’s benefits package includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance; retirement and long-term disability benefits; sick, holiday and vacation leaves; employee assistance; and tuition reimbursement, for eligible positions. Northern Water’s culture encourages continuing education at every level of the organization.
We employ a wide variety of professions: engineers, IT professionals, accountants, construction workers, as well as managerial, administrative and facility-oriented positions. There are few jobs at Northern Water; there are many careers.
