Public Outreach and Tours
Chimney Hollow Public Outreach and Tour Opportunities
Due to Chimney Hollow Reservoir’s remote location, public outreach and education are key components of the project’s success. We recognize the community interest and excitement in this project and strive to provide the best updates we can. The best way to stay up to date on construction is to watch our Virtual Tour, which is updated every few months to provide the public with the latest information about what's happening on site. Senior Project Manager Jeremy Deuto takes us through the valley to get an inside look at key components of project construction, including the tunnel, quarry and main dam.
Please also be sure to follow us on Facebook or Twitter, subscribe to our YouTube channel and sign up for our Chimney Hollow Reservoir Project E-Newsletter to stay up to date on progress.
Site Tour Opportunities
We know there is a lot of interest in seeing Chimney Hollow construction and, due to limited staff and resources, priority for tours this season will be given to staff and leadership of participant groups. A participant is employees of one of the 12 organizations building Chimney Hollow Reservoir. One week before a tour, any remaining spots will be offered to outside groups or individuals.
To be notified when spots are available, sign up to receive notifications. Please note, spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis when the email is sent out and spaces cannot be held. Additionally, due to high demand, individuals are limited to one visit per season.
