Training & Meetings
As Northern Water expands its Water Efficiency Program offerings, one of our main focus areas is leveraging resources with other entities to provide educational opportunities for landscape professionals, as well as the general public. These classes and training aim to give attendees a deeper understanding of many topics, including the plant-soil-water relationship, plant water requirements, landscape water budgeting and irrigation management, among others. In addition to classes and exams through the Irrigation Association, other special classes are hosted throughout the year.
Feb. 19, 20, 25-26 - Irrigation Association Classes
- Landscape Drip Irrigation Design & Management
- Alternative Water for Landscape Irrigation
- Landscape Irrigation Auditor
The agenda will include: soliciting end-user feedback on your needs for web-accessible weather data products; the introduction of a new web portal; consideration of user registration for data downloads; polling how Northern Water's weather data is used. Participant feedback will help shape the future of this program. The meeting is free to attend and will include lunch. Please RSVP now.
