Communications Specialist I
Berthoud, CO

Northern Water is seeking a Communications Specialist I to be a part of a dynamic and high-functioning team. By producing content for various communications projects and providing support to corporate events, a successful applicant values culture, job fulfillment and raising the bar on communications to share our story with regional water users. This position will create content for various program efforts through writing, editing, graphic design, video production and more. Writing across multiple channels includes content development for website, social media, email, print and more, while video production allows the candidate the opportunity to identify topic experts and make editorial decisions to tell a digital story. A successful candidate will provide support for all corporate events, including assistance with logistics, registration, vendor communication, marketing and more. The position will also help manage tour requests for various projects, including registration, safety information and driving attendees to project sites. Additional responsibilities will include developing relationships with water users and project stakeholders, leading presentations for public groups, assisting in a variety of internal and external communication tasks and participating in outreach activities.  

Engineering Technician I - West Slope
Grand Lake, CO

Northern Water is seeking an Engineering Technician I for our West Slope operations located in Grand County to provide technical engineering support in areas such as water quality and water resources throughout Northern Water’s collection systems. This person will perform routine assignments including laboratory work such as collecting, analyzing, logging numerical and visual observations, preparing and packaging water samples, recording test results and other types of documentation. This person will be responsible for gathering, maintaining and entering technical data in databases, as well as plotting data for charts and graphs. In addition, this person will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, installing and calibrating various measuring devices.

Financial Services Intern
Berthoud, CO

Northern Water is seeking a Financial Services Intern to join the Financial Services Department. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of financial and accounting-related tasks including bank deposits, accounts payable and receivable data entry, cash receipt coding, purchase requisitions, data uploads and more. This person will gain valuable experience by assisting with elements of the annual budget and supporting documentation for audit, monitoring and grant reimbursement requests. 

Plant Electrician II
Grand Lake, CO

Northern Water is seeking a Plant Electrician II to perform supervised electric work in pump plants, power plants and appurtenant facilities in Grand Lake, CO. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of low to medium voltage generators, exciters, governor controls, transformers, power circuit breakers and auxiliary equipment. This individual must have knowledge of electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics and electrical theory. 

Seasonal Gardener
Berthoud, CO

Northern Water is seeking a seasonal employee to maintain various aspects of our gardens, flower beds, facilities and grounds at the Berthoud campus. This individual would perform landscape care, pruning, weeding and small design upgrades, as well as assist with maintaining lawns, replacing foliage and weed control. In addition, this person would provide care for indoor plants, perform preventative maintenance tasks and assist with class instruction and training regarding job methods, procedures and proper use of equipment and tools.
