Located northeast of Greeley, Galeton Reservoir plays a key role in NISP. It will store water diverted from the South Platte River during high-flow periods, helping balance water availability across the region, ensuring a stable supply for growing communities.

  • Maximum depth: 85 feet

By working in tandem with Glade Reservoir, Galeton enhances the flexibility and resilience of Northern Colorado’s water system—supporting agriculture, municipal supply, and long-term sustainability
