Colorado Headwaters Partnership Group Examines Connectivity Channel

The monthly meeting of the Colorado Headwaters Partnership group was an in-person affair last Wednesday, as they congregated at the Windy Gap Pump Plant and discussed the Colorado River Connectivity Channel. The gathering served as an opportunity for the diverse group of stakeholders -- made up of Northern Water, Trout Unlimited, Colorado River District, Colorado Parks and Wildlife and others -- to gain a better understanding of the project and discuss collaborative efforts needed to bring it to fruition.

Northern Water's Kevin Lock and Jonathan Hernandez were in attendance to help lead discussions about the Connectivity Channel. The group also made additional stops during the day along the Fraser and Colorado rivers to discuss other collaborative watershed-health efforts.
