Loveland Fire Rescue Authority Crews Attend Quarterly Site Visits
Safety remains the top priority of the Chimney Hollow Reservoir Project. As such, it is critical to keep local first responders up to date on how to navigate the ever-evolving construction site and make them aware of current hazards on site to help them quickly respond to calls. The main project site falls within the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority’s response area. Quarterly site visits are provided to all three shifts of responders from stations near the site.
Northern Water’s on-site project engineer and Barnard Construction’s on-site safety manager lead each tour to familiarize responders with current scopes of work, road changes and safety concerns. A technical component is also part of each visit, such as discussing the design and performance intent of specific project features.
We are grateful for our great partnership with Loveland Fire Rescue to ensure site and community safety.
