New Video Provides Snapshot of Accomplishments 1 Year into Chimney Hollow Construction

It was one year ago this month that project participants and advocates gathered in the Chimney Hollow valley to celebrate the construction kick-off for a new and long-awaited reservoir. Fast-forward 12 months and there’s no shortage of progress to be seen out at the construction site, including a main dam foundation that’s approximately 80 percent complete, access roads that are about 75 percent finished, and numerous other noticeable and rapidly advancing elements of the project.

In this new video, Project Manager Joe Donnelly touches on some of the milestones achieved during Chimney Hollow Reservoir’s first year of construction, while also highlighting how this $510-million project remains on budget and on schedule to be completed by 2025.
