Chimney Hollow Virtual Tour Created as In-Person Tours Take Seasonal Break

Due to much-needed repairs on the road that leads to the Chimney Hollow Overlook tour location, we will not be able to take tours up there for the remainder of the tour season, which runs through about Oct. 31. As a result, we have canceled all overlook tours and will move to an early seasonal break. We’ll be planning for our 2023 tour season to return sometime in the spring.

We realize this is a disappointment to many, as there is much excitement around the Chimney Hollow Reservoir Project, However, in lieu of an in-person tour, the Chimney Hollow team has created an 18-minute virtual tour that gives an up-close look at key project components. This virtual tour follows Project Engineer Jeremy Deuto around the site to see the tunnel, main dam, cofferdam, saddle dam and more. You’ll feel like you’re riding shotgun with Jeremy and see just how big this project is.
