Experience Northern Water: From Symposiums to Tours

Northern Water is dedicated to providing education, transparency and easy access to water-related information for the communities we serve. Each year, we host a variety of events, tours, workshops and training opportunities designed to open the doors to our projects, facilities and mission.

Our Spring and Fall Water Symposiums bring together Northern Water experts, regional partners and industry leaders for conversations about water supply, project updates and the challenges facing our communities. Attendees can enjoy insightful presentations while networking with our Board of Directors, staff, water users and other water professionals.

Throughout spring and summer, join us on a tour of our Colorado-Big Thompson and Windy Gap project facilities—offered on both sides of the Continental Divide. These tours provide a firsthand look at how Northern Water delivers supplemental water to Northeastern Colorado.

From April to October, we host monthly tours of our Conservation Campus and Gardens, which include the Interpretive Area—a scaled replica that displays how water moves throughout our system. Want an even deeper dive? Don’t miss our Conservation Gardens Fair each June. This free, family-friendly event highlights the latest in landscaping, irrigation and water-saving practices. The Conservation Campus is also open year-round during daylight hours for self-guided exploring.

Northern Water also hosts a variety of classes, stakeholder meetings and professional learning opportunities. Whether you are new to our organization or looking to deepen your knowledge of water, there is an opportunity for you.
