Conservation Gardens Fair

June 13, 2026, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Northern Water’s annual Conservation Gardens Fair is a fun and family-friendly Berthoud community tradition that provides education about Front Range focused landscaping and irrigation trends, as well as the latest updates on Northern Water’s projects and programs. 

Free and open to the public, activities for the day include educational landscape talks, demonstrations of irrigation technologies, kid-friendly games, informational booths, local food trucks, giveaways and more. Guests can roam the gardens to view examples of plants, trees and grasses to learn how to conserve water in your landscaping and understand ways to increase water efficiency at home without sacrificing curb appeal.  

Prepare for the summer heat by wearing a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and UPF protective clothing and bringing a refillable water bottle. Due to the amount of foot traffic anticipated, please leave your furry friends at home (with the exception of service dogs).

Spring Water Symposium

April 7, 2026, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Embassy Suites, Loveland

Attendees of our 40th annual spring meeting heard presentations on key issues facing water providers. Highlights included a panel discussion on the latest updates regarding the Colorado River, a look at how Artificial Intelligence may influence the industry’s future, updates on the Northern Integrated Supply Project and a discussion of the 2026 Colorado-Big Thompson Project quota.

Fall Water Symposium 

Oct. 21, 2026, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Embassy Suites, Loveland

This past year has presented our region and state with a growing list of contemporary water issues. The symposium will bring together experts from Northern Water and other organizations as we continue to work together to respond to challenges in a manner best suited for our future. Highlights will include a panel discussion with members of the Northern Water Board of Directors, an introduction to a new collaborative initiative in water clarity with West Slope partners, as well as an update on drought management and a look at prospective climate conditions. Registration for the symposium will open late September.

Watershed Health Stakeholder Meeting

Northern Water hosts an annual Watershed Health Stakeholders meeting to provide timely updates related to current initiatives including forest health, source water protection and water quality, as well as presentations from our collaborative partners.

Water Efficiency Stakeholder Meeting

Northern Water hosts an annual Water Efficiency Stakeholder meeting to showcase our previous year program results, new program offerings and help us shape future water efficiency services. The program will feature updates on the Conservation Gardens and Campus, commercial and industrial water management, training options, new tools and collaborations to manage and create sustainable landscapes, and discuss how we can chart a new landscape water ethic together.
