Audit & Technical Accounting Officer
Berthoud, CO
Northern Water is seeking an Audit & Technical Accounting Officer to guide the audit and financial reporting process in coordination with the Financial Services Department Manager. This position provides technical accounting leadership for the organization, overseeing financial reporting, external audit coordination, and compliance with governmental accounting standards. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and perform accurate work in a timely manner. A thorough understanding of financial processes and governmental accounting is a must. An effective communicator and team player is needed for this fast-paced and changing environment.
Custodian
Berthoud, CO
Northern Water is seeking a motivated individual to perform custodial and general maintenance tasks at the Berthoud Headquarters. Responsibilities include routine cleaning of office space and common areas, monitoring building security and safety and notifying appropriate personnel when repairs are needed. Snow removal and sidewalk maintenance will be required as needed, as well as setup/tear down and reconfiguration of meeting rooms. In addition, this individual must maintain documents and a file system for chemicals, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and equipment.
Locates Specialist (Internal title of Right-of-Way Management Specialist)
Berthoud, CO
While the external title is advertised as Locates Specialist, this position will have the internal title of Right-of-Way Management Specialist upon hire. Northern Water is seeking a Right-of-Way Management Specialist to review locate requests received from the Utility Notification Center of Colorado (UNCC) to determine whether Northern Water, Municipal Subdistrict, Enterprise facilities, or property interests may be impacted. This individual will also maintain communication with UNCC to receive, implement and provide updates, review contractor excavation and construction plans, and inspect and document crossings of Northern Water facilities.
