Northern Water is a stakeholder in the South Platte Salinity Stakeholder Group, a collaborative initiative facilitated by the Colorado Water Center. The group brings together representatives from agricultural, municipal, water supply and research sectors to better understand salinity conditions throughout the South Platte River Basin. By incorporating diverse stakeholder perspectives, the group works to identify sources of salinity, evaluate trends and potential impacts, and support informed decision-making that helps protect water quality for communities, agriculture and the environment.
