Northern Water was thrilled to host another successful Conservation Gardens Fair on June 13. More than 600 guests at the event learned about water-wise landscaping, efficient irrigation techniques, tree selection for Northern Colorado and native grasses. Beyond the educational components, guests took home free low-water plants and prizes ranging from garden tools to camping chairs. The event offered activities for all ages, with face-painting, water gun target shooting and seed planting favorites among the kids.
Northern Water is thankful to partners that donated their time for the event, which included EPA WaterSense, CSU Master Gardeners, Colorado Tree Coalition, Resource Central, Little Thompson Water District, Town of Berthoud, City of Loveland, Plant Select, Energy Resource Center, Larimer County Conservation Corps and the Town of Windsor.
Look for the Conservation Gardens Fair again in 2027.
