Board Bids Farewell to Members Harrison and Williams

Two longtime members of the Northern Water Board of Directors were honored in September as they attended their final meeting as Board members.

Sue Ellen Harrison and Todd Williams, who both represented Boulder County on the 13-member Board of Directors, are moving on after serving on the Board. Harrison served on the Board for 16 years, while Williams was on the Board for eight.

Harrison was recognized by a resolution passed unanimously by the Board for her numerous contributions, including her work leading the Board’s Legal and Legislative Committee, and determining the best courses of action for the Board through her extensive background as an attorney who worked at the federal and local government level throughout her career.

Williams was also recognized by a unanimous resolution from the Board for his years of service, highlighting his active involvement on several committees and his extensive background collaborating with water providers throughout Northern Colorado.

Both will be missed from the Northern Water and Municipal Subdistrict Boards.

Their replacements will be named by the District Court judges with their first meetings scheduled to occur on Oct. 2.
