Whitaker Named Director of Engineering

Kyle Whitaker has been named the Director of Engineering at Northern Water. A native of the White River basin in Western Colorado, Whitaker has been the manager of the Water Rights Department and has also held the title of Colorado River Programs Manager at Northern Water since 2018.

Whitaker previously worked for the Colorado Division of Water Resources in its Division 5 office in Glenwood Springs for 18 years before joining Northern Water. He earned a bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering from Colorado State University.

Northern Water is looking forward to benefitting from Whitakers’ deep knowledge, technical expertise and approach to innovative problem-solving. He is well equipped to assist Northern Water in providing leadership to its various projects, stewardship to our constituents and collaboration both internally and externally.
