Environmental Stewards

Being a good environmental steward in the water industry means responsibly managing and protecting water resources for current and future generations. At Northern Water, this includes promoting water efficiency through public education and partnerships that help communities do more with less water. It also involves monitoring and sharing critical environmental data such as weather conditions, water quality, snowpack, streamflows, reservoir levels, water temperatures and river health. Good stewardship extends beyond water management to supporting collaborative efforts that restore and protect endangered species and aquatic ecosystems throughout the region.
